The Memphis area is home to the second largest Medical Device Industry in the country. I helped re-design and develop a new website for The Greater Memphis Medical Device Council (GMMDC). Their mission is to create a successful collaboration among member companies to identify shared economic development and workforce needs.
The goal was to re-design their website to be user-friendly and look modern, fresh and clean.
We added in training tools to help inspire students to look into the Medical Device Industry as a career and steps on how to receive training and what companies are hiring.
The Industry News and GMMDC News Pages are user friendly so the client is able to add new articles when necessary.
The whole website has search engine optimization (SEO) to pull more traction and spread awareness.
Create a full Membership Directory that included all of the Medical Device Companies in and around the Memphis area and updated once a week.
The client's were very happy with the finished website and already started to see a 15% increase of organic views. Since publishing I have continued to update the news articles and any updates, or training courses that are available. I integrated a typeform for users to ask questions so that GMMDC could respond quickly. It is mobile adaptive and has a high engagement percentage with roughly 43% of users staying on for more than 5 minutes.
