Right before the covid pandemic the chapter reached out for me to put together a fun, uplifting, recruitment video for the upcoming school year.
I was tasked with driving up to Oxford multiple days to get different shots, I wanted to show the unique qualities ADPI represented as a whole whereas some people would see them as just "sorority girls". There were a number of girls in the AP school of business course, which is a great achievement. We had girls that worked in theater, volunteered on campus, cheerleaders for the football team, and even a diamond girl!
I wanted to highlight all of these qualities to showcase how diverse and special this group was. It was a group of young woman who were working hard to achieve their goals.
I filmed with a team for 2 weeks, making sure we got sound bites from the president of the chapter, girls that had great stories, and diverse backgrounds.
We had to shoot in the middle of August so it was very hot. After all the footage and audio was captured I went back to the studio and pieced together 5 hours of raw footage into a short promotional video.
I was in constant communication with the client and their vision. After 2 weeks of editing, communicating with the client, making updates, we completed the video and the client was very happy.
